The next meeting of the North Carolina System Administrators is tonight,
November 14, 2005 at 7pm in MCNC's meeting room in Building #3 in Research

Topic:

Solaris 10 Service Management Facility - a deeper look at the structure
and tools for services and self healing capabilities; why this and why
now?

Open also to general questions regarding Solaris 10, as time permits.

Speaker Bio:

Steve Jones is a senior technical UNIX instructor for Strategic
Technologies.  He is a Sun Certified Instructor actively teaching many
Solaris courses ranging from beginnger to advanced.  Steve is also a
certified HPUX instructor.

Doors open at 6:30pm and the meeting is expected to end by 9:00pm.

Elections for the NC*SA Steering Committee will also be held at the
November meeting.  Nominations are open until ballots are handed out at
the beginning of the meeting. Four seats are up for election for a two
