Abstract:
 
This presentation will build on the Introduction to Puppet talk given in May of 2010, and will be much more hands-on in comparison. The majority of time will be spent on Puppet language, modules (including Puppet Forge), and version control. 
     
Biography:
 
Mike Seda, CEO and IT Consultant at Seda Systems, Inc., has many years of System Administration experience in Research and Enterprise Computing environments. The niche skills that he accrued during this time were (and still are) deemed extremely rare and valuable in the IT industry. One such skill is Puppet, which he has been using to automate system and application tasks for businesses of all sizes since 2008.
