Abstract: 

      With the general availability of Oracle Solaris 11, we will take a deep dive into the core features of the Imaging Packaging System, Network Virtualization,
and targeted Zone and ZFS enhancements. Key integration points with Oracle hardware will be covered in detail, including the critical thread API as well as Oracle Flash Cache.


In addition, a Solaris 10 to Solaris 11 transition cheat sheet with be discussed. 

There will also be a book giveaway (Dtrace or similar).      

  
Biography: 

      Jason Schroeder is a Principle Sales Consultant with Oracle and has over fifteen years of
experience with Solaris implementation, architecture, training, and adoption across the country.
Jason also participates in the Oracle Solaris Strategy Council, and helps to drive feature
and direction requirements for customers across the eastern region.
