sendmail: mail.local delivers to /var/mail/ not /var/spool/mail

as it turns out, none of the values of _PATH_MAILDIR in include/sm/*.h are
used in my compile (changing all of them has no effect). Looking futher
afield, I find that the one being used is in /usr/include/paths.h :-;
