hmmm, i think i see. 

are you going to connect to a host for configuration? you're aware you can 
give the sccli the device name + command for batch mode right?

such as 
# sccli /dev/dsk/c3t0d0s2 <command>

other than that, I'm not sure how to automate, as the other interfaces are interactive.

mark,

well, i want to build a series of commands to configure the disk array. i
have a bunch of these that are going out and don't want to configure each
of these 'by hand'. i want to build a script and run it.

you have ideas?
