[NCSA-discuss] editors in windows, Mac

emacs scores waaay higher than vi for any platform (and yes, I'll stop now)

But on Windows I prefer Crimson Edit - free, and fast. TextWrangler on the
Mac is decent, especially if you need to upload files to a server, because
it'll work over scp/sftp. Crimson Edit will also work over a network
connection.
