[NCSA-discuss] editors in windows, Mac

Thanks everyone. I've downloaded all the suggestions, tested 
them and written them up for the class. There's plenty of 
choice now for simple editors.

I notice that two of the windows editors want you to save 
the files in c:\Program Files\EditorName

This seems a really bad default to me.

I expect I should save development files in a directory like 
python_project under either "My Documents" or "Documents and 
Settings"\UserName. Is that where they go?
