POSITION SUMMARY
Senior Technical Support Representative will provide tier II technical
support to
resolve customer issues regarding the installation, configuration and
use of the
Raritan products.

Responsibilities include:
Effectively communicate on a peer level with IT professionals within
customer accounts to quickly and accurately recommend and communicate
solution strategies.
Facilitate timely resolution of customers’ problems by logging and
maintaining status of problems and their associated resolutions in
customer tracking system.
Moderate customer support on-line forum and answer customer questions
Project manage critical customer cases
Participate in the technical review process for new product
launches/betas, and mentor and train other technical support
representatives.
Great opportunity for someone who enjoy solving technical problems for
customers together with the development and system tests teams

Required attributes include:
Associates/Bachelors degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
experience.
Five years experience providing customer support for complex technical
solutions.
Demonstrated experience in managing complex customer issues.
Excellent analysis, troubleshooting, and technical skills.
Ability to interact with end-users during trouble investigations.
Demonstrated knowledge of:
TCP/IP, LAN/WAN networks,
Network authentication (LDAP, Radius,….)
Application level network protocols (HTTP, SSH,…)
Extensive user experience with Linux including command-line tools,
network configuration, software installation, and performance profiling.
General Microsoft Windows user experience including software
installation, registry editing, and general administration.
Experience with networks configurations, including routers, switches,
and firewalls
Familiarity with SQL
Accountability and the ability to multi-task/manage changing priorities.
Self-motivated, ability to learn and apply new skills quickly
Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required.

Desirable attributes include:
Network Engineering background
Technical Certifications (i.e. CCNA, MCSE,…)
Sysadmin background a plus
