Alas, AFAICS, there's no Uverse, FIOS, or other fiber-to-premises in
Carrboro, so I'm guessing our alternatives to TWC are DSL, 4G/WiMax,
and satellite. (Am I missing any? Earthlink sorta counts, but they're
basically TWC, IIUC.)

Just wondering: where (outside on-campus housing) is there residential
fiber in the Triangle (RTP and surrounding communities)? I'm guessing,
just newer subdivisions. (Extra credit for maps.)

Will do, once we have suitable (at least, credible :-) alternatives.
