<p class="MsoNormal">I've read really good reviews for both. Synology seems to be the higher level and better software that comes with it. I'm leaning towards the Synology one I think because of the software.<br>

There are quite a lot of bad reviews on Amazon for the Buffalo - more than the Synology. So I think I'm leaning towards the Synology one because of that and the software.<br>
