As noted by Iain, we do have spell checking.

Where is c/p not working with the keyboard that you want it to?

Outlook is the paradigm for groupware clients, like it or not.  This
reduces the learning curve for many people.  Remember looking like does
not necessarily acting like.

It crashes not overly often for me.  If you have specific problems, you
can report them to http://bugzilla.ximian.com.

Lots of people do care about.  And we do sync to the palm pilot although
I'm trying to work out some addressbook syncing bugs right now.

What temptation?  This lack of this feature is entirely on purpose.

This is how this feature is intended to work and does afaik.  What
version are you using?
