Overall impressions:

Ship - I was expecting something that looked more like it was 150 years
older than Kirk's ship. I love the grappler device. I love the crew's
fear of the transporter. The doorways look more like a modern naval vessle
which is what I would expect.

Crew - I like Archer, T'Pol (somewhat... they cranked the T&A factor up too
high IMHO), and Phlox. I also like their linguist (forget her name). I
think the rest of them just fade into the background. They are a bit too
plain vanilla for me. Of course this is more realistic, which is what I
think they were looking for.

Story arc - I really wish TPTB in the Star Trek franchise would totally let
go of temporal storylines. They play out time travel as a common occurence
and yet if it were, I think the Romulans and the Klingons would have
pioneered time travel before cloaking devices.

Klingons - The Klingon courier character seemed out of character for a
Klingon. Running and hiding behind bulkheads. He seemed to be too much of
a sissy to be Klingon.

Suliban - It looks like we're going to be stuck with these guys for awhile.
Neat but implausable genetic modifications to a race no more advanced than
humans. I really wish that they would have done more with the more
believable alien races like the vulcans, romulans, klingons, and other races
from TOS. Of course for a race that is going to play out as majorly
important for this series, TPTB painted themselves into a corner because
they are never referred to again in the Trek universe. By creating a series
that takes place before all the others, I think they should have restricted
MAJOR interactions to races we've already seen.

The decontamination scene - It wasn't nearly as racey as the rumors played
it out to be. They didn't show more than a navel, so why this was called a
"nude scene" I'll never know. IMHO it didn't fit into the storyline at all
and was used purely for the T&A factor. Shame, really. The show could
stand well on its own without that. I think they learned about the power of
sexuality in DS9 when they had the lesbian kiss episode, but forgot about it
until Voyager when they resurrected ratings with 7 of 69.

Vulcans - They seem too irritable. Not in line with Spock, Tuvok, and other
vulcans we've seen over the years. Spock was half human and yet he was more
logical than the high ranking diplomats sent to earth.

What's done is done. However I would urge the producers to try to maintain
greater consistency with what we already know from the future of the Trek
universe. Make vulcans act like vulcans, Klingons like Klingons, etc.
Don't introduce major races that don't figure into the later timeline unless
you totally kill them off before the end of the series. Also rely more on
the writers and the actors, and less on Jolene Blalock's ample mammary
glands in a cold room with nothing but a tight undershirt on. Not that they
are offensive to the eyes but this is probably the first trek series I'd
feel uncomfortable watching in the company of young children.
