[TriLUG] Anyone interested in job opportunities?

Hi Chuck,

I'm one of the Triangle's many unemployed since my company (NeTraverse)
closed down its operation in NC and moved all of its operations to Austin.

From the description you've provided here, it looks like the work
you're describing is all support, or administrative. Is this correct?

I've been making my money doing software development for several years.
I've done a fair amount of installation and setup in the process, and
more administrative work than I'll usually own up to - it can't be
avoided from time to time, especially with smaller employers.

If you have any development work to do involving C++, Perl, Oracle,
MySQL, Python, Bash, etc. in this project I'd love to be all over it.
I'm willing to do administrative work on Solaris or Linux a percentage
of the time, but I don't want to crowd development off of my resume.

I know the saying about beggars and choosers, but I've spent long enough
advancing my skills that I hate to give the impression that I've set
them aside to future employers.

Thanks for any help, advice, pointers, and so forth. I definitely
apprecate that you're posing this to TriLUG initially. From what I've
heard, potential employers are being buried in resumes with little
provocation these days!

Take care,
