how do i connect, ie tell modem COM 1, to dial an isp.  currently using
mindspring. i know phone # to isp, and their DNS
ips

first off com 1 = ttyS0 com 2 = ttyS1 and so on
second make sure you have a modem setup under LINUX (ie do you have a
winmodem)
third pull up your window managers dialer ap and just plug the stuff in
(everything has the same name)
