[TriLUG] Mandrake 8.0->8.1 upgrade problem

I am wondering if the initrd.img boots up the devfs I had problems with this
before on mandrake and when i took at the append=" devfs=mount" option it
worked fine. Sorry I dont know what else it might be in that case
