[TriLUG] Kernel Update fails on RH7.2

I am attempting to update to the 2.4.9-13 kernel, using Update Manager to
download and install the
necessary RPM's. All appears to have gone well, but at the end of the
install of the RPM, I get a
error message that says "Test install of lilo fails". I rebooted the
machine, and it sure enough is
still booting to the older kernel, and there is no additional entry in my
lilo list. I did this same thing
yesterday on  laptop, and it worked flawlessly.
