You might try TriBUG (http://www.tribug.org) and/or some of the OpenBSD
lists, especially ports at .  A search of the OpenBSD mailing list 
archives might prove fruitful.

Have you thought about trying AIDE?  It's in the ports tree and 
acomplishes the same task.  I seem to remember trying to get tripwire
working a while ago on OpenBSD and failing.
