Okay, I'll weigh in here, then shut up.  I'm probably one of those that
you might call "apathetic".  Up to a point (as evidenced by the fact
that I'm writing this email).  I'm on a few lists, not many, but among
those, this is the only one doing the header munging.  Personally, I
like it. I mean for most of my replies to go to the list.  But it's also
a matter of what I've gotten used to.  This is the list that I'm most
active on, and now I'm used to the header munging, and I like it that
way.  Baby Bird Syndrome, I guess.  Now, many of the others who you may
count as apathetic are like me.  It's what they're used to, and they
don't feel the need to comment on it further.  So, I won't comment on it
further than to say I like the header munging, and I'd like it to stay.
