If you're talking about a PC, it's definitely doable.  Not sure about SPARC
hardware..
I know it can be done on a PC however, as I once had a machine quad-booting
with
Win98, WinNT, Linux, and Solaris x86.

Then I tried to add FreeBSD and hosed the whole damn thing and had to start
over... :-(
