[TriLUG] Linux on Sparc

Depends on what your app does and how it does it. I'm guessing from your
title line that it's got to run under linux on sparc hardware, not under
solaris. The biggest difference, as I understand it, is the
"big-endian" architecture, which has caused some problems with apps in the
past (samba had a problem with this around 1997 or so, if I remember
right).  My suggestion: buy a sparc, load linux on it, compile, and test.
