[TriLUG] Samba questions

If we have a switch on a PCI card with an IP address
and the Host also has an IP address and is running
Samba are there any issues?

We are also caching on the switch so Samba would need
to run on an off-load processor (MIPS) that is part of
the network switch.  Any thoughts.
