[TriLUG] mailcap and mime.type

Is there a system-wide mailcap adn mime.types file that Netscape will
read or does that need to be set on an individual basis in ~/.mailcap
and ~/.mime/types?  I was one of each in /etc but it doesn't appear to
me that these are the ones ready bu Netscape.  Thanks!
