As long as you install wine into a non-systemwide path, perhaps
/usr/local/wine, then all you should have to do is set the LD_PRELOAD
environment variable when you wish to use wine.

Similarly, you can unset and then reset a new LD_PRELOAD path to point
to the lib directory of different wine installations. You may have to
type the full path to the executable.
