[TriLUG] dd floppy image issue - solved

I had a similar experience with EPROMS.  We were copying EPROMS and the
process seemed so simple but our copies didn't work.  It turns out that
the first eight or so EPROMS we tried were bad.  So the "bad device"
error was actually meaningful :-)
