[TriLUG] Gnome (GTK) samba browsing and archiving

OK, I have been doing searches on freshmeat for a day now, with nothing
to really show for it. 

I just switched back to Gnome, and have found ways to do most of the
usual tasks that I did under KDE...  Just two questions remain. 

1) is there a work-alike to Komba, which allowed you to
browse/mount/unmount samba shares? 

2) is there a work-alike to ark?  

Yes, I realize that I could use these under gnome, but I would like to
have just one of kde/gnome installed on my laptop, as drive space is
precious there.
