Hidden under rocks usually :)  I've actually known about this one for
a few years now, but my more current findings of these things tend to be

Mostly because info tends to imply GNU info.  I'll agree that pinfo is
much better, though, and I use emacs :).   FWIW, there's also pman for
viewing man pages and similarly lets you click the links to related
pages.

Installed in default workstation and server installs in Red Hat Linux
7.3; if you do a custom install, be sure to select the Utilities group.
