[TriLUG] Graphical Login Help

Hi All,

I am migrating one of my systems from Redhat 6.x to SuSE 7.3.  Initially
there was a nice graphical login (I assume kdm), but in diddling with
the system I have broken something.  When the system boots up it says
that it has reached runlevel 5, and kdm is running.  However, there is X
server running, so no graphical login. :-(  The documentation, despite
it's volume, doesn't appear to cover the nitty gritty detail which I
guess I need.  Any help (whether SuSE specifc or not) would be welcomed.
