[TriLUG] Dumb Terminals?

check out www.ltsp.org and www.k12ltsp.org.  i've set this up few times
and it works great.  the thin clients need only a floppy drive, 16MB or so
of ram, and a nic.  no hard drive or cdrom is needed.  or you can use a
special nic with a bootrom built in and dump the floppy too.  they are
totally stateless, so if one conks out just toss it and drop in a
replacement.  if you have a large number of users all of whom have only
basic computing needs, this is a fantastic way to go.
