You no longer need to assume that your media is good, now that Red Hat
7.3 added the mediacheck option!

At the boot: prompt, simply type "linux mediacheck" and it will perform
a check on the media to insure that it is good and installable. I've had
this save me once already from a bad disk 3 burn.
