Hi All,
http://www.trijug.org/ - At the next JUG meeting you can:
1. Try a hawaiian substance called POI. . . (or just eat pizza)
2. Heckle me
3. Learn how to use the Apache POI project
http://jakarta.apache.org/poi/ to write to Excel from Java
4. Learn how to use the Apache Cocoon project
http://xml.apache.org/cocoon/ to write to Excel from XML
All of this is written in Java (so if you're an anti-java bigot...sorry
maybe its not for you) -- and all of it runs nicely
on Linux* and employs no "native code".
-Andy
* POI has been tested on Redhat Linux 7.1-7.2 as well as some version of
Mandrake as well as what I'd just bet is SUSE linux
your experiences may vary, be completely in your head or be flat out
lies that you put on your resume or told over a beer ;-)
