I've used NetGear's Prism-2-based MA401 and it has worked quite well
with both Red Hat 7.2 & 7.3 on my ThinkPad A22p.
In fact, pretty much every card employing a Prism-2 (or "Prism-2.5")
chipset has been fine with my RH 7.2-3 on my laptop. I'll get a warning
message (see below) but the cards all function just *FINE*. Good link
levels, good speeds, etc.
If you have problems using the MA401 card with Linux, get the newer
driver versions available at:
The Prism-2 warning message:

Aug 13 18:37:32 eddy kernel: You may want report firmare revision
(0x7) and what the card support.
Aug 13 18:37:32 eddy kernel: I will try to make it work, but you
should look for a better driver.
