i recently obtained a "dead" APC Smart-UPS 1000 from a customer, stuck in two new batteries from batteries plus ($35 apiece) and it's good as new. but i don't have the OEM powerchute software, i'm sure i can find it somewhere but i'm wondering if that is the best choice. any suggestions from the peanut gallery for UPS monitoring software? mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, peanuts........... jason
