Good point! :-)

I should also note that I was planning on making the backup
available over *read-only* NFS.  While it is possible to make
a local disk read only, it can get kind of difficult when you
also want to write to it (although I haven't looked into
mount --bind).  By having it on another machine, we can just
export it as read-only and voila! (Or at least, that's my hope!)
