I should have qualified the fast part since Jeremy said the opposite.  I 
never have more than a couple MB worth of logs and analog usually chews 
through those in 1 or 2 seconds.  Never tried it with a considerable 
about of logs & my Apache logs already have dns addresses logged not IPs.
