[TriLUG] Roadrunner

William,

Read the AUP closely. There really is nothing in there that says anything
about servers. It just says abuse. Now, if you run a web server that
suddenly starts maxing out your bandwidth regularly, then that's an abuse
issue. We give you great download speeds, but don't expect them to be
constantly saturated. If they are, we get bent out of shape a little,
because it typically means you're doing something that DOES expressly
violate the AUP, like running a pr0n or warez server, for example, or having
an open relay mail server. Otherwise, do as you please, and RR will live
and let live. Naturally, however, I don't speak for the RR legal dept in
this matter, plus, I'm writing this after coming home from a friend's b-day
party where I consumed 4 or 5 rye bourbons. Just read the AUP carefully,
like I said.

Regards,
Ben Pitzer
