FWIW:  My brother is a graphic designer here in Greenville and he is
constantly complaining about stability with Photoshop and the various
Macromedia products, mainly Flash and Dreamweaver on OS X.  He uses a
Titanium laptop and a G4 (not sure which model) at work.  He also uses
the PC version of the apps on his PC at home, a 1.6GHz AMD Duron (I
believe), without any of the same issues.   This seems to be an issue
with the apps and not the OS, as most everything else works, except
printing, which was finally fixed with after paying for a Jaguar
upgrade.

I have run Photoshop and Dreamweaver/Fireworks/Flash MX with Vmware with
no apparent problems, but my trial period is over and Vmware is just a
little too pricey for my budget right now...  but it was *very* nice to
be able to run my Windoze apps on my Linux desktop.  I have yet to get
the Win4Lin demo to work with RH8.0...
