But I'm using a domain pointer. So itchy.kicks-ass.org is both my
hostname and domain name. right? It's been working that way for some time.

Possibly, I'll have to look at their PHP code to see how postnuke sends
an email. I just find it hard to believe that it would be at the
Postnuke level since mail cmds & postnuke emails appear the same with
regard to FROM.

Pine works fine, mail appears to come from root at itchy.kicks-ass.org as
it should - just having problems with the simple 'mail' program & postnuke.

Thanks again,
