[TriLUG] OpenOffice.org Writer and HTML files

I wonder if anyone else has seen this before...

I'm using RH 8.0 and OpenOffice.org version 1.0.1.  When I try to save a
file as HTML, the app just shuts down quickly.  When I do a Tools ->
Options -> Load/Save and click on HTML Compatibility, more of the same. 
I don't see anything in /var/log/messages to give me a clue...

Any ideas???
