I'm not sure if it is going to be 2 weeks or 2 months, but I plan on
upgrading to Final Cut Pro soon on my TiBook. If I had MiniDV copies
of all the footage taken, and one good audio track (maybe an MP3
captured from the mic at his podium), I could splice it all together
like what you see on TV (audio is clean and unbroken, video switches
back and forth between different views). I could then send the
finished product back down there to anyone with DVD-burning gear in
MiniDV format (easy to suck into DVD authoring software). Additionally
it could be made into MPEG's for inclusion on http://trilug.org (and
the other sponsoring orgs if they want it)

If you want to do this, and had three or more cameras, it would be best
if two of the camera operators had tripods and shot continuously
without zooming in and out. One could have a tighter zoom on ESR's
face, the other a somewhat wider angle shot, and the third, fourth (and
so on) cameras could be a little more dynamic in what they are shooting
(audience shots, for example, make for a nice break periodically).
