Well, I have one on an Athlon 1.4GHz  with 256MB 266DDR. The other is an
Intel 1.6GHz with 512MB 133MHz RAM.

Runs ok. Depends on how much I have open. It also depends on how you set
your environment. The best thing I can suggest is to get a demo copy and try
and see if it works before you buy. If you are with an Academic place, you
can get it for around $99 per copy.
