[TriLUG] Just pulled a DOH! - RHL 8.0 RAM requirment

Yup. 

I've got a computer that had RH8.0 on it, and 40 MB of RAM.  Can't do a
graphical install, but I can do a text based one, and the computer works
fine.  It's a firewall as well.

So, it should work fine once you get it installed.
