[TriLUG] change speed/duplex on xircom pcmcia NIC?

It might be easier to configure the switch at the other end to full Duplex 
100mb...of course if you move the machine you have to reconfigure another 
switch port.

i saw references to that on the 'net, but there isn't an entry for eth0 in 

my /etc/modules.conf - that just has:

alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc
alias usb-controller usb-uhci

so i'm guessing the xircom-cb driver is compiled in, rather than a module. 
 
not sure how to interact with it in that case.

i'll give that a try.  i don't see any references for it, tho, so it may 
be logical but not realistic. :)
