[TriLUG] Red Hat 9.0 ?!?!

Just released to me from an inside Dell source... Red Hat will be skipping 8.1,
8.2, etc. and going straight to 9.0, code named gingin!??!  *scratching head* 
Anyone from Red Hat wanna chime in?  Apparently the final release has already
been sent to hardware vendors (such as Dell).  What changes could have been
made to warrent a major release?  Curious minds want to know!
