You could try this:

1) Create a boot floppy under Linux
2) Insure that it works
3) Get a Windows floppy with fdisk and run "fdisk /mbr"
4) Insure that you can get to your Windows partition now, if not I don't
know what's up.
5) Boot back to Linux and re-install grub
