I agree, the PostgreSQL documentation is a good place to start to learn admin
stuff. Depending on your amount of general DB knowledge and what you
want to learn, you may also want to buy a good general book on DB theory that 
will teach you the basics of how a DBMS works, how to design DBs correctly,
write efficient queries and so forth.
