[TriLUG] need to rein in WinXP

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the term "overlay" in reference to a
drive. Is that something I should worry about with a factory installation
of WindowsXP on a ThinkPad?

its a thunk normally used when the bios can't handle the size of the HD installed
the overlay gets put on before anything else then 
Bios talks to overlay
overlay runs the disk
the problem is the "funny math" used
sort of like the 
Manager <> geek
geek <> work
