X-Box mod chip distributors get nailed by the DMCA.  Doesn't the
Mandrake - X-Box Linux configuration require a mod chip to 'circumvent'
the security on the X-Box hard drive to allow a Linux install?

Just wondering, not quite sure...

These guys are *probably* supporting piracy more than Linux users or
people who assumed that they could make backups of their expensive game
software, but I'll complain anyway.

More reasons to avoid supporting (as much as possible) any company that
supports or wields the DMCA, which I guess is just about all hardware
and software mfgs now.

I fear that companies that are trying to invent and implement devices
like the Paladium or Fritz chips will eventually ruin things for the
open-source community, or make open-source illegal on new machines...
