If you want a Dell, try Dell Financial Service's eBay store.  Their
systems often have some factory warranty still on them.  And many of
them are sold without operating system, so no Microsoft tax!

I bought a Latitude CPx J there last fall -- got excellent service from
DFS (answer phone on first ring, easy to use web interface, etc).  The
only problem was the laptop battery was shot, but that's to be expected,
and the descriptions clearly indicate that there's no guarantee of a
working battery.  I had anticipated this and bought a second battery
from laptopsforless.com, which is another good site for used laptops.
