[TriLUG] HP Printer

The HP4300 network printer drops to the default setting after each job is
completed. We often want to change that default without traveling to the
printer, or just keep the last setting given by the currently finished job.
Does anyone know of a way to make it retain the last settings?

I have used telnet to disable the Logical Channel Break on the Jet Direct
but that is overkill and shuts down things that I want... like flushing out
the last page of the currently finished job.

Regards,

Patrick Williams
