[TriLUG] Knoppix revisited...again

Actually, if someone can figure out how to get the CD writer software in
Knoppix to work, I think the problem is easily solved. I've tried everything
I know (which at the state of my knowledge is admittedly very small) to be
able to burn disks without Knoppix being on a hard drive I'm trying to
retrieve stuff from (an old defunct Win95 O.S. is on it). Clearly you are
going to have to have two CD drives on your computer (which I have), one of
them a CDRW. The burning software is on Knoppix (actually there are two
different ones), but unfortunately Knoppix apparently didn't install the
software correctly (at least for me), but I could be missing some minor
detail. If anyone has any suggestions how to do this, I would really
appreciate knowing about it, and apparently it would also be useful to
others as well.--73, Al Johnson.
